The MkV is a BMW underneath and its wheel hardware says so. 5x112 on a 66.6 mm bore is modern BMW G-chassis spec, not Toyota's — the same combination as the BMW Z4 that shares this car's Austrian assembly line, and the same as the G80 M3. That is mostly good news: any 5x112 wheel in the catalog is a candidate, and a set that came off a Z4 bolts on. It also closes the classic Supra parts bin to you. The MkIV ran 5x114.3 on a 60.1 mm bore with M12x1.5 studs, so nothing from a 1990s Supra fits a 2020s one — a mismatch that catches people out on used-wheel listings that just say "Supra".
The car uses lug bolts rather than studs and nuts, another BMW inheritance: M14x1.25 on a conical seat, torqued to roughly 140 Nm (about 103 lb-ft), and short from the factory. So mounting a wheel is awkward without a guide pin, and a spacer or a thicker wheel face needs longer bolts. Factory offsets are high — ET32 front and ET40 rear on both grades — because the Supra gets its stance from wide wheels tucked under wide arches rather than from low offsets, which is why aftermarket sets in the +20 to +40 band cover almost everything owners run.

The catch is the brake. The 3.0's front rotors are 348 mm behind four-piston Brembo calipers, so an 18 needs a barrel profile that clears them — many do, but it is a wheel-by-wheel check rather than a size you can assume. The 2.0's 330 mm single-piston fronts are much easier to clear.
Beyond that, a few habits show up again and again on this car:
- Staggered for the street, square for the track. Factory staggering is aggressive — the rear wheel is a full inch wider than the front — so street builds usually keep it, often a 9.5 up front and a 10.5 out back. Past roughly 10.5 inches at the rear you start hearing about camber plates and liner trimming rather than bolt-on fitment.
- Bronze and gold dominate. They read as intentional on white, black and the loud factory colors alike. Gunmetal and satin black are the conservative default; a polished lip suits the car's curves but lives a hard life at ET32.
- Weight is a real argument here. The 3.0's factory 19s are forged, so a heavy cast replacement can be a step backwards in unsprung weight even when it looks better — worth knowing before you shop on looks alone.
- The 2.0's 18s are a cheap second set. They share the pattern, bore and offsets with the 3.0, so owners do move them across — subject to the same front-brake clearance check as any other 18.

Every MkV GR Supra — 2020 cars through the 2026 Final Edition, 2.0 and 3.0 alike — uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with a 66.6 mm center bore and M14x1.25 lug bolts torqued to roughly 140 Nm (103 lb-ft). That is BMW G-chassis hardware rather than the 5x114.3 Toyota used on older Supras, so you are shopping the 5x112 side of the catalog. Whether a given wheel actually works still comes down to width, offset and brake clearance, and because the car uses bolts instead of studs you also need the right bolt length and seat shape for the wheel you buy.
Do BMW wheels fit a GR Supra?
Often, yes. The MkV shares its platform, hubs and wheel hardware with the BMW Z4 G29 built alongside it, and both are 5x112 on a 66.6 mm bore, so Z4 wheels and other modern 5x112 BMWs bolt straight on when the width and offset suit. Two traps come with that. Older BMWs are 5x120 on a roughly 72.5 mm bore and will not fit, and neither will anything off a MkIV Supra, which was 5x114.3 on a 60.1 mm bore with M12x1.5 studs.
