Overview

WheelPeek is a photorealistic AI wheel visualizer. It renders aftermarket wheels onto a photo of your own car. To do that, WheelPeek needs your car photo — and that is essentially the only personal content it handles. We have designed the app to collect as little as possible.

Your car photos

When you create a render, the photo you snap or import is uploaded to WheelPeek's render service and processed by third-party AI image providers (currently Google Gemini and fal.ai) solely to generate your renders. Photos are used to detect the wheels, identify the car and produce the visualization you asked for. They are not used to build advertising profiles and are not sold.

Accounts and sign-in

On the web your first five renders need no account (they carry a small WheelPeek mark); signing in with Google unlocks 100 free renders during the beta. The sign-in is used only to meter free beta render credits and prevent abuse: usage is tracked against a hashed identifier derived from your Google account ID. When you are signed out, the web app keeps a random guest identifier in your browser's local storage instead, so that your free renders can be counted. There is no WheelPeek password and no email sign-up, we do not build a profile of you, and personal data is not sold. The mobile apps work without any sign-in.

In the mobile apps, render credits and your saved looks are tracked on your device; on the web, credits are tied to your Google sign-in. If you reset the app or your device, locally saved looks may be lost.

Third-party AI providers

Renders are generated using external AI image models — currently Google Gemini and fal.ai. When you request a render, your photo is transmitted to these providers to produce the image. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We may change or add providers as the technology evolves, and will update this page accordingly.

Analytics and cookies

WheelPeek uses Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) on this website and in the web app to understand which pages and features people use — for example which page a visit started on, whether the app was opened, and whether a wheel was rendered or a Shop link was followed. Google Analytics stores first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>, kept for up to two years) so that repeat visits can be recognized, and it does not store full IP addresses. We do not use Google's advertising features, do not build advertising profiles and do not sell this data. Your photos and renders are never sent to Google Analytics. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics measures nothing and sets no cookie unless you choose Accept in the banner, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Elsewhere you can opt out by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser or by installing Google's opt-out add-on. Visit-level analytics data is kept for up to 14 months; after that only aggregated statistics remain. Separately, the web app records first-party, cookie-free usage counts — for example how long it took to load (anonymous, with no identifier) and which in-app announcements were shown or opened (recorded against the hashed usage identifier described under Accounts and sign-in, or a random guest identifier when you are signed out); these do not depend on the banner and are never sent to Google. This marketing website loads no advertising trackers and no third-party web fonts.

Data retention and deletion

Photos and renders are retained only as needed to generate and deliver your results and to operate the service. If you would like your data deleted, email wheelpeek@gmail.com and we will action the request.

Children

WheelPeek is intended for a general audience of car enthusiasts and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

As WheelPeek moves toward its Google Play & App Store launch, this policy will be finalized and may change. The "last updated" date above will reflect any revision.
